Beeswax Products

 

Here we show you how to make the products from our workshops at home.

For an introduction on how to make beeswax products yourself, we offer student workshops. To be part in one of these please refer to the Studentenwerk.

Beeswax wrap

You need:
- 100% Natural fibre cloth (Cotton, linen, etc.)
- 70 g Wax grains, amount is dependent on cloth size

How to:
With an Iron, you work the wax into the cloth. To protect your iron, it is advisable to use one parchment paper each between table, cloth and iron.

Beeswax candles

You need:
- Beeswax according to desired size of the candle
- optionally a few drops of essential oil to have a scented candle
- (optional) a colour for your candle

How to:
After heating the wax, you add the other ingredients and then pour it in a silicone mould or a tea candle cartridge.

Lip balm

You need:
- 10 g Beeswax
- 6 g Castor oil
- 3 g Cocoa butter

How to:
After heating the wax, you add the other ingredients and then pour it into a chapstick casing or a small jar.
